Find cheap Airbnbs in Sydney Harbour and Sydney CBD

Sydney is a charismatic coastal city in Australia, best known for its sparkling harbour, iconic opera house and beautiful city beaches.

Sydney is the largest and most popular Australian city, receiving around 4 million international tourists a year.

This makes accommodation in Sydney in high demand, pretty much most of the year. Availability is even more scarce around Christmas time and New Year so booking ahead during these times is definitely recommended.

This popularity and demand for accommodation here push the prices up, making it challenging to find a cheap Airbnb in Sydney for under $150 a night – especially in a centrally located suburb.

And Sydney is a huge place so trust me, your Airbnb location is key!

Booking an Airbnb in Sydney is a great choice over a hotel stay, as they’re often more affordable, spacious and have more facilities.

And yes – you can even find cheap Airbnbs in Sydney in sought after locations such as Bondi Beach or Sydney Harbour.

I lived in Sydney for almost two years, and in that time I did lots of housesitting all over the Greater Sydney region and consider myself a local expert. I often stayed in Airbnbs in Sydney when I had a gap in between house sitting jobs.

In this post, I’m going to cover all the best areas to stay in Sydney so you can enjoy more of the fun things on your trip, without overspending on your accommodation.

Most of these Sydney Airbnbs are under $100 a night and all are centrally located. And I have also included the local attractions that are nearby for each Airbnb location.

So, let’s dive into our list of the Best Cheap Airbnbs in Sydney, Australia.
